Training objectives
This series of master classes will enable colleagues to:

·         Know and understand the key concepts that underpin the study of History at any stage of learning through an enquiry approach, including EY Understanding of the World.

·         Recognise how concepts serve as the connecting building blocks of subject disciplines and enable learners to understand and assimilate new knowledge within a ‘spiral’ curriculum.

·         Understand how planning history around key concepts enables progression in subject language acquisition and specialist vocabulary and key terms.

Engage in practical and interactive professional reflective practice that applies learning in the classroom through gap tasks.
