Plaster casting
Using different ways to make moulds from which to take a cast. A great way to demonstrate relief sculpture, negative space and gives an exciting 3d reveal. The children really love this activity and can be used collaboratively and across different size scales. Simple method for KS1 to complex design work in KS3 and 4. Very versatile across different subjects.
